Ecumenism - Come out of her My People

We know that we are living during the time of the angel's warning in Revelation 18:4, because as God is saying for His people to come out of Babylon, satan is making a huge drive to pull all denominations and faiths together. God says "COME OUT", and satan says "LET'S GET TOGETHER".

This ecumenical movement is spearheaded by the Roman Catholic Church, which of course is the whore of Babylon, and Revelation 17 says that Babylon is the "mother" fallen church and she has daughters, which are the fallen protestant churches. So if practically the whole "christian" world is deceived by this ecumenical movement, then who is it that gives this "call" to "COME OUT OF HER"? The seventh day adventist church is the only denomination who is actively calling God's people out of Babylon, out of the Roman Catholic Church and out of the fallen protestant churches.

It's interesting that the protestant churches were started during the reformation in "PROTEST" against the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, and yet what do we have today? We have the very same protestant churches going back to their "mother" saying that what happened in the reformation was a mistake!! And yet the teachings of the catholic church remain the same!

Of course, this isn't a popular message, and one day soon, we as God's people who are giving these warnings to the world will be persecuted for it. But Jesus is coming back soon to take us home, so let's not worry what the world can do to us, the one thing they CANNOT do is take away our heavenly reward.

It's time to call God's people out of these fallen churches!

All That Live Godly Shall Suffer Persecution

2 Timothy 3:12 .....'Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus SHALL suffer persecution.'

This and many other Bible verses explaining that Christians will suffer persecution concerns me, because I don't see a church that is suffering for Christ Jesus. Sure, there are Christians is certain parts of the world that are being killed for their faith, and God will surely reward them for their great faith, but in the large majority of professing Christians around the world, I don't see any kind of persecution in their lives.

Why should we suffer persecution? Because we are not of the world and Jesus said in John 15:19 that the world would hate us because of this fact. The world hates Jesus and it will also hate all those who follow in His footsteps.

Now there's the distinguishing mark ..... following in Jesus footsteps ....... And the reason that the majority of professing Christians are not suffering any kind of persecution today, is the fact that they are not following in Jesus footsteps. Let's face it, if we were TRULY following the Lord, then we would be rejected by the world, by our friends, our family and everyone else, and THEN we would see persecution in our lives. BUT, the problem is, we want to fit in. We don't want to be outsiders, or unpopular. We want to look just like the world. And I'm afraid that the majority of the Christians around the world look just like those outside the faith. We speak like the rest of the world, dress like them, gossip like them, continue to sin like them, want to "enjoy life" like them, watch the same filth on tv like them, etc, etc.

It's time to start truly following Christ Jesus and not be ashamed to suffer persecution for Him. Stand up for what is right!

There are many Christians who also believe that we will not suffer persecution during the very end times, and that we will be "raptured" away before the great tribulation starts. This is NOT the truth. See truth about the secret rapture and the great Biblical tribulation for the truth on this.

Conference in European Parliament on Work Free Sunday

On the 24th March 2010, a conference is to be held in the European Parliament to discuss the "protection of a work free Sunday". What does this mean? It is another step towards the mark of the beast, which will be the Sunday law imposed upon man.

And they will use the economic troubles and the "global warming" issue as part of the excuse to have a day where man should rest. They will say all the right things in that the day of rest will be fundamental for family relations in bringing rest and health to families. And the Bible teaches
us that we should observe a Sabbath day every week. The problem arises in that God commanded us to keep the seventh day (Saturday) as the sabbath day of rest, whereas man is now seeking to bring a law into force to keep the first day (Sunday) as the sabbath day of rest.

Is there any problem with keeping whatever day we like? Yes! Because what God commanded, we should do! Now many Christians will say that the ten commandments are no longer binding on Christians because we are under grace not law, and that Jesus abolished the law at the cross. Is this true? No! Jesus did not abolish the ten commandments at the cross and if you click on the links above, you will see evidence from the Bible about it.

For a good explanation about the popular Bible verses used by Christians to say that the law has been abolished, see bible verses explained.

This Sunday law that the antichrist (Roman Catholic Church) is bringing in, is the mark of the beast and the majority of the Christian world will accept it, because they no longer think that the law of God is important in their lives. This is why so many Christians still live in sin!

Those of us who want to obey God over man, and keep the seventh day as Sabbath, as God commanded us, will be persecuted for our faith and our obedience to God, but if we stand on the truth of God's Word and not let man dictate how we should serve God, then Jesus will be with us and help us through the great tribulation to come. And we will have eternal life awaiting us at the end.
