Conference in European Parliament on Work Free Sunday

On the 24th March 2010, a conference is to be held in the European Parliament to discuss the "protection of a work free Sunday". What does this mean? It is another step towards the mark of the beast, which will be the Sunday law imposed upon man.

And they will use the economic troubles and the "global warming" issue as part of the excuse to have a day where man should rest. They will say all the right things in that the day of rest will be fundamental for family relations in bringing rest and health to families. And the Bible teaches
us that we should observe a Sabbath day every week. The problem arises in that God commanded us to keep the seventh day (Saturday) as the sabbath day of rest, whereas man is now seeking to bring a law into force to keep the first day (Sunday) as the sabbath day of rest.

Is there any problem with keeping whatever day we like? Yes! Because what God commanded, we should do! Now many Christians will say that the ten commandments are no longer binding on Christians because we are under grace not law, and that Jesus abolished the law at the cross. Is this true? No! Jesus did not abolish the ten commandments at the cross and if you click on the links above, you will see evidence from the Bible about it.

For a good explanation about the popular Bible verses used by Christians to say that the law has been abolished, see bible verses explained.

This Sunday law that the antichrist (Roman Catholic Church) is bringing in, is the mark of the beast and the majority of the Christian world will accept it, because they no longer think that the law of God is important in their lives. This is why so many Christians still live in sin!

Those of us who want to obey God over man, and keep the seventh day as Sabbath, as God commanded us, will be persecuted for our faith and our obedience to God, but if we stand on the truth of God's Word and not let man dictate how we should serve God, then Jesus will be with us and help us through the great tribulation to come. And we will have eternal life awaiting us at the end.
