A man named Andrew Bowen in America is spending 2011 immersing himself in 12 different faiths and religions in a bid to learn from them and find ways of bringing religions together for the sake of peace.
I know this is only one man but this is just an example of the ecumenical movement that is going on around the world. There is a great effort driven by the Vatican to unite all faiths and religions under the leadership of the pope.
The ultimate aim is to cause the people to form the image of the beast, the beast being the Roman Catholic Church, a religio/political institution. So the image of the beast will be an IMAGE of the Papal religio/political power. Now the earth beast in Revelation 13, which is America, is the nation that tells the people to form the image of the beast. So the image will end up being a Protestant church led government.
Now in Revelation 18, a warning goes out to God's people to COME OUT of Babylon. Babylon being the Roman Catholic Church AND her daughters, the fallen Protestant churches. So what is this ecumenical movement? It is a movement that is in direct OPPOSITION to God, because while they are saying let's join together, God is saying COME OUT of Babylon and this ecumenical movement. And anyone who joins in with this interfaith movement will be swept away in the last days by Satan's deceptions.
Please heed the warning and seek the truth!
